To memories I hold dear
Forever it stays true
With or without you
The days that I count
Long before it’s gone
And I can no longer
Be here together

Why relive the same pain
Over and over again
Leaving it to chance
Hoping things would change

At some point you have to
Make sense of things that
Just stays the same
And it will always be

But the road we pave
And the toll we endure
No one can say for sure that
Death would’ve saved me from more
